Welcome

Hello, and welcome to my photography blog! This is where I’d like to share new work with you, so that you can follow along as I post about the beautiful imagery I create for new clients. And from time to time I’ll also reach back into my photography archives to spotlight some images that I think are incredible but that may not be in in my current portfolio of work.

I'm a certified, award winning professional photographer in the metrowest area of Boston, a graduate of Professional Digital Photography at The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. I specialize in creating dramatic and artistic portraits, but my services extend to a wide range of people photography. My work has been published work in newspapers and magazines throughout the region, and outside the US. At the moment, I'm a part time photographer growing a small business. For my day job, I have the privilege of being a software engineer for Adobe, the makers of Photoshop and Lightroom. Every day is a challenge to balance my photography with my day job in software, with my role as President of CIPNE , and with family life. I have a beautiful wife and adorable young son, and I thank them for helping me bring it all together.

Throughout the blog, I hope you’ll get a sense of who I am as a photographer and a visually creative person, but also who I am as a person, as a father, or as a neighbor. With that, I think you’ll discover that I am always thinking about vivid imagery, about beauty and light, and about emotion and relationships.

My goal is to capture those qualities in small slices of life and then preserve them as heirloom quality art as a constant reminder of the relationships and milestones in your own life.
